Workout Habit Tracker
A workout tracker should follow your real training schedule, not force a daily streak. In HabitLine, create a "Workout" habit on custom days (for example Monday, Wednesday and Friday) so rest days never break the streak, and link it to a fitness goal with milestones.

How to track workout in HabitLine
- Create a habit and choose Build as its type, then give it an icon, colour and category.
- Set the frequency to Custom days (e.g. Mon, Wed, Fri).
- Turn on a reminder for an hour before your usual session.
- Set a goal duration: 12 weeks for a training block.
- Add rules: “Bag packed the night before”, “Warm up every time”.
- Mark each scheduled day as done, skipped or failed, and watch the streak in Statistics.
Why track workout?
Training plans have rest days built in. Custom-day habits keep the streak tied to the days you actually planned to train.
Tips that help
- Schedule the days you will really train; three good days beat six planned ones.
- Link the habit to a goal such as "Run a 10K" with distance milestones.
- Use Skip for illness or travel so a missed session is recorded but explained.
- Check the monthly timeline to spot weeks where training slipped.
Turn it into a goal
Create a goal called “Run a 10K”, link this habit to it and add milestones:
- Run 3K
- Run 5K
- Run 8K
- Race day
Log it in one press
Put the habit on a key with the HabitLine Stream Deck plugin to mark it done without opening the app. The free plan covers up to 5 habits; Premium is unlimited.
Common questions

No, if you schedule the habit on custom days. Only the days you chose count toward the streak.

Yes. With the HabitLine Stream Deck plugin you can mark the habit done from a key.
Is HabitLine free?
Yes. The free plan never expires and includes 5 habits, 3 goals, 3 tasks, 5 journal entries and 1 project. Premium removes those limits and adds the full calendar view for $4.99/month, $49.90/year or $149 once.
Do I need an account to use HabitLine?
No. HabitLine runs in guest mode with your data stored locally on your PC. Signing in is optional and syncs your habits, goals, tasks and settings across your Windows PCs.
